DL370 G6 and NC375i problem
I just installed RedHat 6.1 Enterprise Linux on this server. I was having some issues with the Ethernet driver included in RedHat, so I downloaded the latest driver hp-nx_nic-4.0.556-2.src.rpm and the required firmware for that driver CP015529.scexe (version 556). Ever since loading the firmware, the nic doesn't ever sense the link, even after rebooting and installing the latest driver. It is always down.
I downgraded to the version 550 firmware and it was able to sense the link but it only worked some times. After rebooting the server with that version it wouldn't sense the link, until I loaded/unload the driver and/or plugged/unplugged the cable.
Is there a known issue with this firmware or something I am missing to get this nic to behave properly?
Thanks
