DL380 G3 server with Windows 2000.
Hello,
We have a DL380 G3 server with Windows 2000 standard edition which had a pasword setup for ilo but unfortunately we've messed up and can't access ilo since the password was lost. Hate to have messed this up but I own this issue. Anyone know of any documentation where this reset can be done? Thanks in advance for reading and responding.
Cheers,
Reddy

Re: DL380 G3 server with Windows 2000.
If you have installed the PSP's there should be a utility that will allow you to change the iLo password from within the OS.
HP Lights-Out Online Configuration Utility (HPONCFG)
It runs from a command prompt. Should be located at C:\Program Files\HP\hponcfg
You'll need the script files to go with it:

(HP Lights-Out XML Scripting Sample for Windows )
Running this through the OS overrides the iLo security!
