dl380 g7 fan failure

Hi , i have a Proliant DL380 g7 , when boot process starts , "Fan solution not fully redundant" come up  due to fan 1 failure . however , sometimes "Fan solution not sufficent" would be displayed due to fan1 and another fan(don't remember) failure . i checked fan 1 and replaced it with a healthy fan , but still got message fan1 failure . what should i do ? tnx ;)

Re: dl380 g7 fan failure

Hi,

If all the fans are working and still you see that message during POST, then clear NVRAM from the System Maintenance Switch or Remove Coin Battery to clear the settings.  Do this when server is switched OFF.

Alternatively you may update BIOS.

Thank You!
