DL380 Gen10 p408i-a diskspd results
I am hoping for a little help on my results. I am running two tests specifically against my RAID10 across 8 SAS 15K 900GB drives and not gettting results that i would expect. I am expecting to see better Avg Lat speeds in the 64K test and much closer to the 8K test shown below. It's possible my expectations are out to lunch but any help greatly appreciated. THank you.

Re: DL380 Gen10 p408i-a diskspd results
Hello,
Kindly try changing the Read/Write percentage from the Smart Storage Administrtor(SSA). Change the Write percentage to 100% and check if there is a difference.
This would require some logs to validate the hardware status and depends if they are SAS SSD's. Request you to log a support case.

Re: DL380 Gen10 p408i-a diskspd results
My diskspd parameter of -Suw disables all caching so wouldn't changing the ration to 100/0 have zero effect? I do have a ticket with HPE and they have determined there are no hardware issues based on logging. As for drive types i have run this against a raid 10 volume made up of 8 SAS 15K drives. I have also done the same test against another volume of 2 SSD drives in a RAID1 and have the same result. thank you.

Re: DL380 Gen10 p408i-a diskspd results
I can confirm after changing the ratio to 100/0 there is still high CPU idle time and poor AvgLat speed.
