DL580 G3 and Virtulization Windows 2008 X64 Core/Hyper-V
I have 2008 Core installed on a DL580, have enabled virtulization and non memory exception support in Bios, I create a VM and try to power it on and I get a "Hypervisor failed to start" message. Will this not work on the G3 box?
Need some help please

Re: DL580 G3 and Virtulization Windows 2008 X64 Core/Hyper-V
I'm surprised to see G3 having hardware virtualization.
regarding the problem,
0. Did you restart the server after installation of the Hyper-V role?
1.Could you check if all the services are up? You may use server manager.
2. could you run microsoft update, then try to start the VM?
3. also you may delete the VM and try re-creating.
