DP380 g7 drive cage installtion

Hello,

I'm looking for instruction how to mount drive cage option in DL380 g7 server. What parts do I need? Is some diffrence between primary and secondary cages?  Maybe you can give me link to manuals?

Hi Oskar,

Primary drive cage already comes with the server which has slots for the drives. Secondary drive cage occupies the optical drive bay. Please refer to the Quickspcs and Option parts list:-

Second drive cage installation replaces internal optical bay.

Second drive cage requires second controller or HP SAS Expander Card(468406-B21).
