ESXi and iSUT on DL380 Gen10 servers

Hello,

I have 20 DL380 Gen10 hosts running ESXi 6.7 and I need to upgrade the firmware as well as the ESXi drivers.

What is the best method to accomplish this?

I was thinking of iSUT together with SUM.
How do I install iSUT on ESXi and how do I use SUM to push the firmware and drivers online?

Hi, 

You are correct. 

1. Please install the iSUT on all the hosts where the firmware and drivers are to be deployed.

2. Set the iSUT mode to AutodeployReboot run command “sut –set mode=AutodeployReboot

Note: AutoDeployReboot mode performs all the tasks of AutoDeploy mode and AutoStage mode.

Note : However, iSUT reboots the Vmware ESXi host only if the host is in Maintenance mode.
