Event ID 2048 Foundation Agents
Since yesterday I have got a warning in the System log as follows:
Component: Compaq Host Agent Error: Unable to allocate memory. Cause: This indicates a low memory condition. Rebooting will correct this error.
The memory usage looks fine - plenty spare. Do I really need to reboot, or is this a known issue? And what can I do to prevent it in future.
Couldn't find anything about this error on the Compaq Support Pages.

Re: Event ID 2048 Foundation Agents
What service pack level is NT at? What version of Insight Manager is installed?
This is a "classic" memory leak error and could be caused by a combination of software.

Re: Event ID 2048 Foundation Agents
We are experiencing the same problem on many servers in our environment. We are running NT SP5 on ProLiant 6400's and CIM version 4.22. We are not sure if there has been any SP installed - is there a way to verify if a SP has been installed? What is the fix for this problem?
