expand logical drive hpssacli

I have a dl380 g9 with an H240ar card, running ESX. I have 4x1.6 SSD drives in a raid 5, = 4.4TB.  I physically added two more drives and ran the followin command

/opt/hp/hpssacli/bin/hpssacli ctrl slot=0 ld 1 add drives=2I:1:5,2I:1:6

This took a LONG time to transform but completed, however my logical drive still shows 4.4TB, I would expect it to show 8TB.  Did I miss a step?

Internal Drive Cage at Port 1I, Box 1, OK

Internal Drive Cage at Port 2I, Box 1, OK
array A (Solid State SAS, Unused Space: 3662768 MB)

logicaldrive 1 (4.4 TB, RAID 5, OK)

physicaldrive 1I:1:1 (port 1I:box 1:bay 1, Solid State SAS, 1600.3 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:2 (port 1I:box 1:bay 2, Solid State SAS, 1600.3 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:3 (port 1I:box 1:bay 3, Solid State SAS, 1600.3 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:4 (port 1I:box 1:bay 4, Solid State SAS, 1600.3 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 2I:1:5 (port 2I:box 1:bay 5, Solid State SAS, 1600.3 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 2I:1:6 (port 2I:box 1:bay 6, Solid State SAS, 1600.3 GB, OK)

Thank you,

Glenn

Re: expand logical drive hpssacli

Expansion and Extension are different operation: it looks like you missed the Extension part (which atcs on already expanded logical disk).
