HD to SDD upgrade

Hi,

I have an HP server presently running HP's  EG0450FBLSF HP 450-GB 6G 10K 2.5 DP SAS hard disc drive.

I would however like to clone this across to an SSD for a I/O speed increase. I would like to know what spec of SSD would suit, in particular the power connector on this existing drive is not the standard L-shaped modern SSD/HDD profile, but a series of pins.

Can I swap the 2.5 HDD out of the 'cassette' thing it sits in and replace it with an SSD?
