HDD cage question
I have been ordering some HPE desktop servers for small projects. I've now noticed some come with hot swap cages that requires HDD trays and others just come with cables and you mount your HDD using screws.
For most projects I dont need the cages and would rather just have the drives help with screws. Is there a way to know how the servers are configured before purchasing. Is there a way to remove the cage and replace it with a cable instead?

Re: HDD cage question
One i purchased was 840667-S01 ( HPE ML110 GEN9) the other one i plan on purchasing is the 831064-S01 (ProLiant ML30 G9) or 831065-S01 (ProLiant ML30 G9).
Its almost like if the system i select includes a HDD, they dont have a cage, but if it doesnt then its a cage tray system.
