how can update Online ROM Flash Firmware Package - HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5

Dear all

Hi

Today i download latest firmware version for DL580/380 G10 ILO firmware 1.43

but could not update the server , i did these steps :

1- download     ilo5_143.fwpkg

2- Upload to iLO Repository

3- according to attach pic now it show in  iLO Repository

4- according to attach pic ilo2 it has ben added to queue

now how can install that ? it is pending

better click update, not upload.

Get the update file for windows, extract it and use the *.bin file for the upgrade.

I am still waiting , no onw could not update ILO firmware ?

Hi Baber1,

As your snapshot indicated, the fwpkg is installable by Smart update Manger or Smart update Tool. Not iLO, so it's in pending state waiting for Smart update Manger or Smart update Tool to launch.

If you want to use the repository to let iLO directly update to 1.43,  please refer to the document on how to extract iLO 5 binary and update to repository.

Hi,

1. Extract fwkgp file via winrar.  

2. Click update Firmware

3. Select local file and upload the xxx.bin file

4. Click Flash
