How many enclosures will P600 Smart Array support?

Hi,

I have a Proliant ml370/G5, running Win2008 with a P600 Smart Array controller connected to a MSA70 and MSA60. Can I add any more MSAs to the daisy chain or is it maxed out and need to add another controller? If I can more what's the max number of enclosures? Thank you!

Hi Kevin,

 

The maximum number you can have is 2 MSA70's connected to a P600 using cascading.

 

Note that this is also the only way of accessing more than the 38 physical drive limit that the P600 has.
