How to Install OS in IDE in ML310 first generation

I'm trying to boot a proliant ML310 first generation with an IDE hard drive.

It detects IDE botting with SCSI but doesn't boot from even CD when I connect CD ROM and a IDE Drive.

Please give me idea to set up windows server 2003 in ML310 first generation server using a CD ROM and IDE not with CD ROM and SCSI Drive.

I' hope somebody can help me or refferme some document. Thanks a lot

Hi,

As far as I know, none of the ProLiant servers boot from IDE HDD.

BIOS is not configured to do so.

Thank You!
