How to reconnect HP DL380pG8 to HP MSA2040

Hi All,

Let me give you a brief rundown.

I have a Dl380pG8 which had Win 2008 R2 and it was upgraded to Win 2016. Before the upgrade, I had 3 partitions. But after the upgrade, I am left with two. Upon checking, the DL380p is connected to a HP MSA 2040. Additionally during the Win 2016 installation; all three partitions can be seen.

The current configuration of the MSA 2040 was set by a previous employee who has left the company.

Physically the setup of both devices are :

DL 380p connected to switch.

Switch connected to MSA 2040.

How do i reconnect back to the MSA2040 ? Is there any specific software or driver I need to get ? I am unable to find any articles on reconnecting

Is it using fibre channel HBA's, or iSCSI?  Here is the user guide https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c03792322
