HP DL120G7 unable to boot OS from PCIe SSD !!

Hi,

We're trying to boot CentOS7 from PCIe SSD which is mounted into motherboard of HP DL120-G7 Node but we're failed to boot OS so far.

So we want to ask if booting OS from PCIe SSD supported on DL120-G7 ?

Thanks in Advance !

Regards.

Re: HP DL120G7 unable to boot OS from PCIe SSD !!

Hi,

May I know which make of PCIe SSD you have connected?

Go to bios by pressing F9 go to PCI Device Enable/Disable and check is PCIe SSD cards are detecting.

If cards are detecting go to Boot Controller Order and check is PCIe SSD cards are set as first boot device.

I guess if cards not getting at bios then I assume PCIe SSD cards is not supported on DL120-G7 server,

you can try by updating bios to latest version from support site and give try.

you can also contact HPE support centre and get confirmation from them.

Hope it helps.
