HP DL380 Gen9 UPS Issue

Hello Community,

I have a problem with my Server HPE DL 380 Gen9, Whenever the power cut in my building, The Server Cut Off Power ALTHOUGH there is a UPS Device connected it 3KVA.

The server conatin 2 Power Supply 80 W Each, and both connected to differant UPSs..

What would be the problem??

Hi Minaed,

Please let me know which two UPSes are connected with this server and what is setting done on those UPS for backup. Also did the server abruptly shutdown as soon as the utility power was cut or did it work few minutes before shutdown?

When the server restarted, did it have any error reported?

Now I have only one ups with 3KVA , and when power cut, the server work for about 5 secs, then cut off.

Please elaborate more about the backup you asking for

To give out a better plan, I would need few details. Can you please share the screenshots, from the power protector utility or network module utility, of the shutdown parameters. Also the screenshots of the info from UPS main page. It will give how much load is there on UPS and firmware version and backup time
