HP DL580 G5 - Not posting error 1797
Hi,
My DL580 G5 is not booting at all, no display or any error messages.
I looked on the ILO2 and I can see that there is the error code 1797 and something to do with the SAS Controller.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Re: HP DL580 G5 - Not posting error 1797
Hi,
If you are referring 1797 error, here is the basic information.
Error Message: 1797-Drive Array - Array Accelerator Read Error Occurred...
Data in Array Accelerator has been lost. Array Accelerator is disabled.
Possible Cause: Hard parity error detected while reading data from posted-writes memory.
Action: Replace the array accelerator daughter board.
I would recommend to Reseat the Smart Array Controller if its a PCI card.
Try with another similar Smart Array Controller card if available.
Thank You!
