Remove/reseat both the power supply,
Swap Power supply or swap with any other server if possible.
Maksure ILO and BIOS are updated to latest.

Re: HP HP ProLiant ML310E Gen8 Fan Problem
Hi,
I believe you need to replace them.
You should raise a support case with HPE if server is still under contract.

Re: HP HP ProLiant ML310E Gen8 Fan Problem
any updates?
I have the same results with 2 servers if i try to install a Pcie card. once i remove them, reset the cpu, reset the powersupply, disconnect the power to main board and put back together, the noise goes away
i have all firmware updated as well as bios.
it did the same noise since i bought it and i could never figure it out.
power supplies are good..
any thoughts?
