HP Insight Management Agents - testing email-notification

Hi,

i configured the alerts und email adresses and now i want testing the configuration.

How can i do this?

AFAIR you can go to the system management homepage and send a test event from there.

I installed only the "HP Insight Management Agents" and not the "HP Systems Insight Manager". Do you mean the last one?

No, you don't need HP SIM, but SMH only.

On System Management Homepage v7.5.2.4 click "Settings".  Then select "SNMP & Agent Settings".  There you will see "Send Test Trap" on the left nav pane.
