HP Proliant DL160 G6 Temperatures
Hi,
I recently purchased a proliant dl160 g6 and upgraded the cpus to 2 x Xeon X5570 95W.
I was wondering what the normal temperatures were for the cpus under full load (turbo boost active and 130W fan configuration)? If I log into LO100 (BMC version 4.21) through IPMI i can see my overall cpu temperatures rising to 50°C. But if I boot into linux and use lmsensors i get cpu core temperatures of 90°C so which one to trust? I have also noticed that in LO100 when under no load the cpu temperature stays at 30°C whereas it is at around 40°C in linux with lmsensors.
Also one more thing, what does IOH (Front IOH, IOH temp, IOH outlet) stand for in LO100? Is 73°C a normal temperature for IOH Temp under full load?

Re: HP Proliant DL160 G6 Temperatures
I installed a new 2x X5675 processor in the DL160 G6 server. Updated BIOS and iLO to the latest version. The temperature of the processor shows 30 degrees and does not change. How to fix it?.
