Hey All,

I was wondering what the exact part numbers are for my HP Proliant Dl180 G6 to change out the 2 LFF HDD's for a 3 PCI-E Full Height, and 1 PCI-E Half Height Cage and Card?

This says it is a 3 Slot Full Height x8 PCI-e riser card?

Then wouldn't you be able to have the 507258-001 as well?

I just wanted to know what the actual hosuing number is that holds the 3 PCI-e cards.

I understand that this topic and platform are quite old, but we spent some time for figure this out and have to leave this information for others.

We noticed that 577668-B21 joins full lenth pci 2.0 x16 and half-sized pci x4 and gives you:

-PCI 1.0 x4 (upper slot)

-PCI 2.0 x8 (botom slot 1)

-PCI 2.0 x8 (botom slot 2)

Stranage, but specification doesn't provide information what exact version of each pci slots this platflorm got, so custommer could assume that all of them are 2.0, but is not actualy true - looks like half sized slot got PCI 1.0 x4, and only raser card gives - mirrors it into the upper slot.

Moreover specification say that this raser card 3 PIC 2.0 x8 - that is not actually true.
