HP server with a BMC that supports WS-MAN protocol?

Hi,

My team is developing a tool to control power and get status from server baseboard management controller boards using WS-Management (WS-MAN), the SOAP-based protocol, aka SMASH, but I'm not referrring to SMASH-CLP which is the command-line protocol. We have some Dell servers whose iDRAC management board does support SMASH over WS-MAN.

Does HP have servers with management boards that support WS-MAN protocol?

Thanks.

Re: HP server with a BMC that supports WS-MAN protocol? "SMASH 2.0"

After more research it seems what I am really seeking is SMASH 2.0 compliance.

I was able to address our HP DL360 G5 using WS-MAN, but from what I've been able to determine the iLO2 interface only offers SMASH 1.0 which is the command-line protocol.  I was hoping to have programmatic access via web service using the SMASH 2.0 standard.

Does anyone know if HP offers or plans to offer SMASH 2.0 compliant managment board?  Thanks.
