HP Smart Array P410 Overheating
Hi,
I have HP DL320 G6 with P410 array & 4 Nos. of 300GB 15K SAS HDD(RAID5). When I do the any OS (Linux or Windows) installation on same. P410 overheat during installation and after some time P410 stop responding and installation stop with random error message. I try with new firmware also. But, problem remain same.
Please help to resolve same.

Re: HP Smart Array P410 Overheating
Hi!
How do you know it's overheating?
Perhaps if you put it in a colder place.. :)
If you have a BBWC to the P410 you could try to disconnect that and see if it works better.

Re: HP Smart Array P410 Overheating
You can use SPP to run diagnostics test on the server: http://hp.com/go/spp
If your server is overheating, perhaps you should take care of that before trying to install an OS.
