HP SMH on SUSE 10 for ML350 G6 and DL380 G7
Hello everybody
I'm trying to get HP SMH running on SUSE Enterprise 10
I made a fresh install of SUSE on a new hard drive
then I used the HP SMART START 8.70 for HP tools
I can launch HP SMH but I do not get any information from my ML350 G6 hardware
By cons if I put the hard drive in a DL380 G7 the HP SMH works properly with the hardware information
Do you have any sugestion?

Re: HP SMH on SUSE 10 for ML350 G6 and DL380 G7
Hello
The HPSMH requires hp-health, hp-snmp agents and hp-smh tempaltes in order to work properly and display HW information. You most probably have all of them installed along with the Smart Start, but may be the installed versions (or at least one of them) are not compatible with G6, therefore the same drive (SMH) works and displays all HW Info if installed in the G7.
