HP T750 UPS is not detected by HP Power Protector.

Hello,

I'm not sure if this post is in the right category but I was unable to find a UPS forum here.

I'm using an HP T750 UPS on a ML350 G6. The UPS is detected as a HID UPS Battery and a Microsoft Composite Battery in the device manager.

However the HP Power Manager software cannot find this UPS when doing a quick scan. I was unable to find drivers for this UPS on the HP website.

What am I doing wrong?

- Windows SBS 2011 (Server 2008 R2)

- HP T750 UPS connected via USB

- HP Power Protector 1.01 build 016

Installing the HP Power Manager Server software did the trick. This could be made a lot clearer on the website.
