HPE PROLIANT DL 380 G2

Hi,

I have a problem with the PROLIANT DL 380 G2 , i dont know if the issue from the cotroller or the bay it self. I have replace the HDD 2 times (in 6 months). After rebuilding the Raid, everything work fine with out issue then after few months the bay 1 HDD is Predictive failure status!

Hi ,

Please take a valid data backup. Please make sure the HDD firmware is latest https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=3676358&swItemId=MTX_4da53ad46320472ab96604fba7&swEnvOid=4184   . Also make sure that you are using latest firmwre for smart array 6i controller   https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/home/driverHome?sp4ts.oid=426649&pmrsr=0  .  Since predictive failure is seen multiple times, please log a support ticket to validate the array and the drives .
