Re: HPE Proliant DL360P Gen9 Cache module status - failed
Hi @Ali29
I suggest resetting the Cache Module and Checking the Firmware and Drivers.
Outdated firmware could also cause issues. Ensure that your HPE Smart Array P440ar controller firmware and the iLO firmware are up to date.
1. Download the latest firmware from the HPE website.
2. Update both the Smart Array Controller and iLO firmware.
Updating the firmware might help resolve compatibility issues or bugs that can cause persistent faults.
Most of the time, cache module issues can be solved through firmware updates, reseating components, or addressing configuration problems. If those don’t work, a replacement controller might be necessary.

Hello @Greeshma21 ,
Thank you for your prompt response,
Does Updating the firmware on both Smart Array controller, and iLO affect any thing on the server? because i have several VMs running on it,

Re: HPE Proliant DL360P Gen9 Cache module status - failed
Hi @Ali29 ,
You can update the firmware of all devices using SPP. It won't affect existing iLO, RAID configuration and data in disk.
Please let me know if the issue persists even after firmware updates. Reply us with error snaps related to Controller and Cache battery.
