ilo4 -- can't configure IP: specious "User not authorized." messages
I've had this on a DL580G7, a DL360pGen8, and now a DL380pGen8.
iLO lets me log in as Administrator using the password printed on the system tag, but when I attempt to set the IP address, reset, or just about anything, I get a bogus denial. Note that these are servers, and that iLO stands for "Integrated Lights Out". Doing this from the CLI is documented, and it's always worked fine on Sun / Oracle hardware.
These are not desktops and they are not in a staffed location. DHCP is not an option, and neither is a legacy monitor/keyboard.
Any wisdom out there?
