Is Infosight for Servers totally broken?
I created an ILOAmplifier appliance to upload our AHS logs to infosight and have the cool metrics/monitoring.
The first time it was OK, and the servers showed up, then it took 72hrs for the actual real time health stuff to show.
I wanted to change the Location descriptor in Infosight which it gets from the Infosight registration page in the appliance, I changed it and nothing happened for days.
Thinking this was simply stale data, I used the option in Infosight "clear Server data", and according to HPE this should then repopulate on the next AHS log upload.
It did not, our servers never, ever came back.
I then did all the following to try and fix:
1) De-registered appliance, re-registered. = No Server data
2) Created new appliance from scratch, registered = No server data
3) De-registered new appliance, re-registered, = still no server data.
Here we are now 2 weeks later, still no server data showing up in Infosight.
Is Infosight broken at the moment?
All the logs and data in the Amplifier Appliance show all the uploads are successful to Infosight, and everything is fine, except we still have ZERO server data showing in the portal!
I cannot get my head around clearing the server data as per HPE instructions, breaks your Infosight permanently it seems.
What else to do?!

Re: Is Infosight for Servers totally broken?
Hi,
InfoSight has great Support.
Go to InfoSight.com > Resources > General > InfoSight Support > Email: InfoSight General Support
This generates a Support Mail with your User Data.
Sometimes there is a mismatch in the Database, which they can fix.

Re: Is Infosight for Servers totally broken?
Did you ever get this resolved? We're dealing with the same thing after following the same action of "clear Server data". AHS logs are uploading and the connection from the iLO Amplifier is good.

Nope,
Have a support ticket in, has been 5 weeks now and no resolution.
