Issues getting into Intelligent Provisioning - DL360E (Gen8)

Hi all,

I'm currently having problems booting into Intelligent Provisioning, I've attempted to re-install using the recovery media (v1.71) and had no luck. Each time it attempts to re-install I'm met with 'Error flashing the NVRAM'.

From there, I've used the service switch with reboot which hasn't changed anything along with flashing the NVRAM via the ILO.

Within the ILO when I check the ILO health I can see; "Controller firmware revision 2.10.00 Embedded media initialization failed due to media write-verify test failure".

Finally, I've installed the latest SPP available to see if this would fix, but also to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

please collect the AHS report and logged an HPE case for further assistence. its look like some hardware issue.

Hi there have you've used Inteligent Provisioning recovery pack 1.61 ?

Also what I would suggest you is to update ILO firmware to 2.61, and make sure that ILO self-test error will not appear.

If it does, you must to run NAND format..

Better take version 2.70.
