Maximum Storage ML115 G5

Hi all, I have read that the max storage for this machine is 3TB. Is this 3 TB in any configuration i.e. 3 x 1 TB or is this limit imposed because the hardware cannot support drives bigger than 750 GB?

P.S. this thread has been moevd from ProLiant - Experts Online Now!!! > ProLiant Servers - Netservers to  to ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL) - Hp Forums Moderator

3TB is the limit imposed by the largest hard drive directly supported by HP (750GB). You can use your own drives (from HP or not) and have the capacity over 3TB - as long as the OS and hardware drivers support them - but HP may not support (i.e. answer questions about) such configurations.
