Mirrored array on ProLiant ML310G5 acting up
My company has a 14 month old ProLiant ML310G5 with a pair of mirrored SATA drives. During the last year both drives failed and were replaced under warrenty after the amber fault LED came on. Now, periodically the server will become very slow and sometimes freezes up for periods of time, being unresponsive to commands from the console. After maybe 15-30 minutes performance will return to normal levels. I have noticed during these times of degraded performance that the green activity LED's on the front of the drives are flashing in unison at an even beat maybe 1 or 2 times a second. That isn't normal behavior.
I can't find anything in the SBS2003 events logs of significence, and I can't seem to get the HP array config utility to even find my drives much less run diags or view any error messages! What's going on here?
