ML 110 G9 server
Hello HP Expert Team,
We want to use ML 110G9 server with CENTOS 7.0 64bit OS in RAID 1 mode.
Please guide us whether RAID can be configured with Smart Array B140i Controller for CENTOS.
OR
Any additional controller is required.

You can use the RHEL 'hpdsa' driver with CentOS. Keep in mind the B140 is a software driver based RAID controller. The driver is kernel specific and you may be held to a specific kernel release before a new driver is available. Other options are to use the software RAID included with the Linux OS, or to install a supported 'P' or 'H' series Smart Array controller. The driver for the 'P' and 'H' series controllers is open source and included with most distributions.
