ML110 G6
Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a ML110 G6 as an upgrade to my existing server.
Would it be suitable to run:
-Server 2008 R2 Standard
With:
-2 x 1TB Western Digital Caviar Greens - currently in software RAID through Windows Server 2008 R2
-1 x 1.5TB Western Digital Caviar Green - Used as a spare drive
-1 x 64GB Kingston SSD - for the OS to be operated off?
I currently have the hard drives and OS, and I'm happy to upgrade the RAM myself.
What is confusing me is the differnce between the following configs:
-http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/sm/WF06b/15351-15351-241434-3328424-3328424-3984625-4063948.html (Cheapest)
Seems pretty odd for there to be a £200+ difference between the two, and it's the same on other websites...
Many thanks in advance,
Matt
