ML350 Gen9 - Not booting with critical Error (AUX/Main Efuse Regulator 1 (20h))

Hello all,

I have an ML350 Gen9 which is not booting.

All 4 Leds blinks, and this message error is shown :

Power On Fault, System Board, AUX8Main Efuse Regulator 1 (20h)

Here is a screen of the error :

Does anybody have an idea about how to resolve it ?

Hi,

You can try the basic troubleshooting by removing any devices which is not required for boot.
Remove any USB stick or USB Drives, PCI cards which is not required for boot.
You can also do a NVRAM clearing, S6 switch, refer to this document, page# 89.

Hello,

Please do perform the below steps.

1. Power drain the server ( unplug the power cables, press and hold the power button for 30s)

2. clear NVram

3. Perform a minimum configuration to isolate the faulty part.

Did you ever find the solution? I've replaced my power distribution board (which took some damage during shipping), but that was not it. I suspect there might be something wrong with one of the PCIe slots, but not sure. What does Regulator-1 power, did you ever find out?
