ML370 Power Supply
I have about 70 ML 370's around the US. In the last 2 months I have had to replace about 10 power supplies. I don't feel this is related to dirty power, all servers are plugged into an APC1500. Sometimes the server will totaly power down, other times it starts rebooting every so often or the tape drive stops working. Anyone else seeing this?

Re: ML370 Power Supply
14 ML370G3's in 6 states for about 1.5 years. All have dual power supplies. No power related failures. One motherboard failure; one AIT swappable tape drive failure (both at same site). UPS models for these servers vary. Failure rate meets expectations.

Re: ML370 Power Supply
Scott:
There was a recall for the ML350 power supplies about a year ago when a batch of them had a problem like this.
Contact HP directly and have them look at the serial numbers of all the ML370 servers to determine if there was a sequence they can apply to a known problem or a batch of bad power supplies they shipped for you.
