NC7131 Gig Ethernet card Beeping

I have a Compaq NC7131 Gig ethernet card that is beeping. It sounds like morse code. If I reboot the system or disconnect the lan cable and plug it back in, the beeping stops for a couple of weeks, then starts beeping again. It's in a Proliant ML350G3, Windows 2003. The card seems to be working fine, no errors in Event manager or errors on the card in Insight Manager.

The install doc doesn't mention anything about whatthe beeping means, anyone have any ideas?
