NMI Channel Check / IOCHK
Dear All
HP server is getting halted almost every next day. "NMI Channel Check / IOCHK" error appears. Upon reboot of server, the OS boots normally.
Please do needful.
Thanks and regards
Muhammad Sohail

Re: NMI Channel Check / IOCHK
Hi Muhammad Sohail,
Check if there are Elpida DIMMs installed in the server. If Elpida DIMMs are installed, then remove them and check if the issue is resolved.
Regards,
Vijayasarathy

Re: NMI Channel Check / IOCHK
Next time please open your own thread - this is a totally different issue.
Install this fix:

Hope this helps!

Re: NMI Channel Check / IOCHK
I've got also a reboot on DL380G7 (with high temp on sensor 2 behind the CPU: 82 degrees). It looks like it was a problem with ILO V1.61. According to Advisory V1.65 has solved those fake warnings, causing the DL380G7 to shut down.
