ORCA on DL 380 G6

Hi,


I'm tring to create any Logical Drive on a DL380 G6, I have two disks on it, RAID 1 will be fine.

When I enter OCRA utility after post, the only thing I get is a CLI screen "CLI>" and some cryptic commands with very little help. I see that HP has documentation on full Screen Mode for ORCA but not CLI.

Can someone help me to switch to FUll Screen Mode or provide me instructions on how to use CLI ?

Hello Baysars!

The server should came with a SmartStart CD, use it to configure the array (Go to maintenance and Array Configuration Utility) Now, the ORCA is with F8 during the post

Now, what are you doing to get a CLI version? because the ORCA that I know is not CLI, is during the post with F8

Normally you will only encounter the ORCA CLI prompt when the system thinks there is an active termnal connected to the serial port. RBSU can also be changed to Command Line Mode, which also puts ORCA in CLI mode.

Go into RBSU and reset to factory defaults, or if RBSU is also in CLI mode issue this command while in RBSU

SET CONFIG BIOS INTERFACE MODE 1
EXIT
