P800 in DL360 G5 Won't Fit

I hope somebody here can help me.

I got a P800 array controller for an MSA60 appliance that I plan on using for backups.  Based on what I read here I thought the P800 would fit.

When I try to install - the PCI-E card  has to point to the right (when facing the server) which puts the array controller over the ram.  And there is just no way it will fit.

Here are some pictures.

Is there more than one type of P800?  Does the DL360 not support the P800?  What am I doing wrong?

According to the quickspecs the card is supported. I guess you have to place the card on the left side (the user guide will probably tell).

EDIT: see user guide page 47

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: P800 in DL360 G5 Won't Fit

Thank you - I ordered a 412200-001 which is what I think I need.  I'll post back here as soon as I know it works.

Really appreciate it.

That did it - array is building now.  Love HP.

Kinda bummed that the P800 only supports up to 2TB HD's since I got 3's - but I'll live.
