Hi
I use PCAnywhere 10.5.1 on my servers (ML530s + DL380s) and 11.0.1 on my management workstation for remote management. I just installed PSP 7.10A and now find that PCA sessions are very slow especially video refresh - I am guessing that the update of the ATI Rage XL and IIC drivers are the cause.
Has anybody else had this problem and, apart from rolling back, does anybody have a fix?
Thanks.

Re: PCAnywhere and PSP 7.10A
Hi Mark:
Whenever you are trying to update the driver you should disable PCanywhere and or uninstall it ; then install or update the driver.
afte the driver has been updated you can enable or reinstall pcanywhere.
This issue is with pcanywhere ; it attaches DLL files to the video driver.
Best regards,
Tarek.

Solution
Mark to resolve the problem.
1- uninstall pcanywhere
2- go to VGA mode and uninstall the video driver
3- reboot ; video is reinstalled; and now can go to normal mode and install pcanywhere again.
This should resolve any res or video issue with the ATI driver.

That's resolved it - thank you. What a nightmare though - if this issue is well documented I must have missed it - if it isn't it should be!!
Many thanks.
