Proliant DL20Gen9 SmartArray RAID Configuration

Hello,

I have problem on RAID 1 configuration on my new Proliant DL20Gen9 but it shows only RAID 0 in array options. I have two HP Sata 6Gb Tb hotswap disks.

Help me please.

Yes it detects two disks but the only array drive configuration I can choose is  RAID 0!

Are you trying to configure the RAID using smart storage administrator?

Yes, in smart storage administrator when the disks are in bay 1 & 2 the only array option I can choose is Raid 0!

I think is a controller firmare bug because when I moved the second disk from bay 2 on bay 3 magically  I can set Array to Raid 1!

Problem solved by myself before the call from official HP support!

Finally I re-moved the second disk from bay 3 to bay 2 and the array is still working!
