Proliant DL360 Gen9 memory population order
Hello!
We have trouble with Proliant DL360 Gen9 memory population order.
We have checked https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c05241599&docLocale=en_US
But still get:
POST Error: 207-Invalid Memory Configuration - Processor 1, DIMM 10 incorrectly installed. Please refer to Memory Population Rules in Documentation. This Memory will not be utilized.

--------------
By the numbers we should have 360 GB of memory, but operating system sees 346 GB of memory, around 16 GB less.
Processor 1 has 7 DIMMs, unpaired number of dimms. Should it be allways paired number of DIMMs ?
What should be done?

Re: Proliant DL360 Gen9 memory population order
Hello,
From the ILo Screen shot Processor 2, DIMM 10 is not Present.
Which is not a balanced Configuration.
For more details and to check the Logs
we would request you to log a HPE support case.
