Proliant DL380 gen and VMWare VSAN compatibility

We are planning to use some Proliant DL380 Gen9 servers together with VMware VSAN but there aren't any SAS adapters from HP certified for VSAN. Does anybody knows when we can expect a certified SAS adapter from HP for VMware VSAN?

Hello,

please check VMware compatibility matrix for VSAN at http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php?deviceCategory=vsan . From HP are supported H220, H222, H220i SAS adapters. These are quite outdated, as quickspecs for DL380gen9 shows H240 and H240ar as compatible ( http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c04346247 ).

Have you tried ask HP support about it?

I think i will open a case with HP.  The supported VSAN adapters seems to be not supportet in the Gen9 servers.
