1) is there a different riser that has one PCI-X and one PCI-E slot?
2) is there another PCI-X controller that would work with MSA30? I only found a riser card that has two PCI-X slots, so no way to use the old PCI-E controller with MSA30.
3) return p800 and get p600 with a cable that will connect MSA60. Will this even work? Does p600 support logical partition larger than 2TB like p800 does?

SolutionDL380 G4:

Yes, there's an optional PCI-E riser with two slots.
MSA60:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12627_div/12627_div.html
Most compatible controllers are PCI-E, but it is compatible with SmartArray P600 too.
SmartArray P600 quickspecs:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12247_div/12247_div.html
MSA60 listed as compatible
MSA30 Quickspecs:

So the cheapest option is to return the P800 and ask for the correct controller for your case, the P600.
