Recently I brought some brand new DL380P Gen8, but I want to replace the actual CPUs that was originally shipped with product, then I found a list in documentation of the compatible kit, but at my current location, none available, the only one available are for ML350P Gen8 and DL360P Gen8 CPU Kits.
According to the seller, the ML350P Gen8 and DL360P Gen8 are compatible with DL380P Gen8, but he told me that can't open the kits to confirm if the heatsink can fit, and I didn't found any image to confirm this, so I want to know if I can buy it and use in the current machine without problem, since I'm in hurry to get this upgrade, I must not wait more than 45 days to get the kit for DL380P Gen8.
Its compatible?

Re: ProLiant DL380P Gen8 - CPU Cross compatibility
hi,
ML350p Gen8, DL360p Gen8 and Dl380p Gen8 have different spare number for the heatsinks.
I don't think that the heatsinks are compatible.
Thanks
regards,
