Upgraded three outdated ProLiant DL380p Gen8 servers this morning. Two were running 1.22 and the last 1.30.
After upgrading one of the 1.22 servers, the fans started running on 100% and when logging in to iLO, the password didn't work. I had to reset the password from the operating system.
Once logged in, both overview and system information looks wierd:
I've tried to reset to factory defaults but no dice.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Re: ProLiant DL380p Gen8 iLO broken after firmware upgrade
Hi robingg, did you reboot the server to fix the issue? I'm also experiencing this issue right now.

Re: ProLiant DL380p Gen8 iLO broken after firmware upgrade
Hi Torsten, thank you for your suggestion. I can't do any reboot for now so I'm asking if there's any solution that would not require to reboot. The server is currently being used and I can only troubleshoot on iLO.
