ProLiant DL585 G7 with NetXen NX3031: performance issues

Hi,

we just bought a couple of HP DL585 G7 servers equipped with 10GB NX3031 Multifunction 1/10-Gigabit Ethernet Cards.

During tests with latest RH 5.7, we noticed a serious performance problems:

iperf/netperf shows a real slow throughput ONLY in one direction (RX) while in the other (TX) seems OK.

 

Googling a bit, I found that some folks had massive problems in the past, not sure ifhw/firmware/driver related.

Only suggestion is to try with full Pro Liant Support Pack but I prefer native RH drivers, when available.

 

Any help?
