Proliant ML 370 - Wont always boot up.
Hello all, I have a odd issue with my ML 370, g4.
The server will not always boot up into windows, in fact I'd say around 1 in 10 boots are successful, just as you expect to see the windows logo come up after post, the screen changes to a small flashing cursor in the top left hand side, this is the point where I'd expect windows to start loading,
the raid controller is a smartarray 642, with the latest firmware,
can anyone help? This is a most annoying issue! And I really need to get this machine to boot reliably,
I would be grateful for any suggestions or advice! - thank you all in advance!
R.

Re: Proliant ML 370 - Wont always boot up.
Hi,
Have you tested the server in Safe-Mode (F8)?
Have you performed any Diagnostics from HP SmartStart CD?
You may perform Insight Diagnostics and Array Diagnostic Utility.
Thank You!
